(Alva-AP) -- A new preseason poll picks Northwestern Oklahoma to win the Central States Football League title this season.
The Rangers collected ten first place votes in the poll of member coaches and sports information directors.
Northwestern Oklahoma finished last year with a 13-and-1 record and were runners-up for the NAIA national title.
The poll also picks Langston to place third this season.
The Lions have 13 regulars returning, including All-C-S-F-L running back David Banks. Banks led the league in rushing with one-thousand-228 yards.
Langston finished 5-and-4 last season.
Bacone College also is a CSFL member, but won't be eligible for the conference until next year.
