(CATOOSA) - A toxic release near the Port of Catoosa prompted evacuations Wednesday afternoon, officials said.

Police evacuated an area around the port, but the town was not affected, according to Catoosa police.

The arsine and cyanide gases were released from a company called Solkatronics, said Sandy Cox, a dispatcher for the Rogers County Sheriff's Office.

Cox said she did not know the extent of the evacuation.

The Hazardous Materials Unit from the Tulsa Fire Department was called to the scene.

There were no reports of injuries.
