Tulsa Police Detectives are sorting out what happened in a police shooting in North Tulsa Sunday night. Officers say they pulled over a Chevy Suburban and found drugs on both the passenger and driver. While waiting for a drug dog, someone started shooting at the officers from a drainage ditch about 30 feet away.

Officers returned fire and followed a bloody trail that led to 24-year-old Andre Marshall, a friend of the two men being arrested.

Sgt Wayne Allen, Tulsa Police: "We do believe at this time, Andre Marshall was attempting to shoot at the police officers in an effort to prevent the arrest of his two friends."

Tyson Banks and Vagus Penny were arrested on drug related charges. Marshall is in good condition.

Officers interviewed a witness and are testing a gun they found in the ditch.
