(Peabody, Massachusetts-AP) -- Oklahoma's Doctor Gil Morgan is near the top of the leader board at the U-S Senior Open.

Morgan was one of four golfers on the course when play was suspended yesterday afternoon because of a thunderstorm in the area.

He's posted consecutive even-par 70s, but is one over midway through his third round.

The third round is set to resume this morning at seven with the final round kicking off around nine A-M.

Jack Nicklaus leads the group of players which finished the third round. Nicklaus had an eagle and two birdies and is 2-over par.

Oklahoma's Doug Tewell is nine-over par for the championship. Tewell posted a three-over 73 yesterday
