TULSA, Okla. (AP) _ A seven-run fourth inning helped lift the Tulsa Drillers to an 8-2 victory over the Midland Rockhounds in a Texas League game Tuesday.
Brett Cadiente and Juan Piniella each doubled to drive in two runs in the fourth. Hank Blalock's solo home run in the first gave the Drillers an early 1-0 lead.
Midland's Jay Pecci doubled in the sixth inning, then scored on a Tulsa throwing error. The Rockhounds added another run in the seventh.
Justin Duchscherer (2-0) went 6 2/3 innings for the win, allowing five hits and two runs. Duchscherer also struck out 11 Midland batters.
Juan Pena (7-5) pitched four innings, allowing seven hits and eight runs.
