(Philadelphia-AP) -- Struggling righthander Amaury Telemaco has been sent to the bullpen by the Philadelphia Phillies.
After starting the season four-and-oh, Telemaco is one-and-four with a seven-point-four-six E-R-A in his last eight starts. He gave up eight runs and six hits in three innings in Saturday's 12-to-1 loss to the Florida Marlins.
Telemaco is the first Phillies starter to lose his job in the rotation this season.
Candidates to replace Telemaco include minor-league pitchers Brandon Duckworth, David Coggin and Nelson Figueroa. The Phillies have also had trade talks with the Colorado Rockies about righthander Pedro Astacio.
