The Tulsa County Sheriff's Office is accepting unwanted and inactivated cellular phones starting this week. The Sheriff's Office will be distributing these cell phones to older adults and individuals with special needs, so they can access 911 in case of an emergency. Anyone interested in donating unwanted cell phones can bring them to the Sheriff's Office at 303 W 1st or call 596-8555 to have the phones picked up. Anyone interested in receiving a cell phone can call the sheriff's office at the same number 596-8555.
