A zookeeper at the Tulsa Zoo is recovering after being bitten on the hand by a Gila Monster lizard. It happened during a routine cleaning of the animal's exhibit. The keeper was taken to Hillcrest Medical Center for treatment. The Gila Monster is one of two types of venomous lizards in existence.
