A Moore woman drowned in Okemah Lake on Sunday, authorities said.
Shelby Baker, 23, was sitting on a boat dock around 10:45 a.m. when witnesses said they heard a splash and saw Baker had fallen into the water.
Members of the Okemah Police Department recovered Baker's body at 11:45 p.m. in 15 feet of water about 10 feet from the boat dock.
It was the second drowning reported on an Oklahoma lake over the weekend.
A 4-year-old McAlester child drowned at Lake Eufaula Saturday afternoon.
Lake Patrol units discovered the body of Thomas Fisher around 5 p.m. at the camp site 2 area of Arrowhead State Park in Pittsburg County.
The boy was reported missing at 3:15 p.m. Oklahoma Lake Patrol units, the Pittsburg County Sheriff's office and others looked for the child for nearly two hours.
Authorities believe the child was left unattended and wandered off toward the swimming area into water over his head.
He was found in 6 feet of water, about 15 feet from the shore, authorities said.
