(Westville-AP) -- Officials in the eastern Oklahoma town of Westville are hoping the release of a state audit leads to legal action against a former utility secretary.

Court documents show former utility secretary Laura Graham was charged in January 1999 with embezzlement. Graham resigned soon afterward, but there still has been no preliminary hearing in her case.

State Auditor and Inspector Clifton Scott released a report yesterday showing 54-thousand, 500-dollars missing from the utility.

Utility attorney Lloyd Cole junior says he expects the audit will force the district attorney to take some action on the case.
