Authorities in Central Oklahoma are looking for thieves who stole thousands of dollars worth of equipment from a church.

It happened sometime over the weekend in Tecumseh, which is in Pottawatomie County. The break-in was discovered Sunday morning when Pastor Chad Brodrick went into the First Assembly of God church.

The thieves made their way from office, to office, and took what they wanted, even from the children's area. “We're not sure how they got in, but they went throughout the entirety of the church.”

Tecumseh Police Sgt Jim Brown, “I think the thing that's frustrating the most is that the items taken weren't from the church, they were from the children's program.” Outside the church is dolly marks and tire marks, believed used to wheel out the heavy items.

Investigators don't have a description of the suspects. They're hoping someone will come forward with information.
