The Humane Society of Tulsa got a little gift Wednesday a local telecom company.

Birch Telecom presented the animal shelter with a check for a thousand dollars. The company donated ten dollars to the humane society for each business customer that switched to its phone service since September.

The program, called 'Buddy's Super Buddies', is named after Birch's spokesdog, Buddy, who is a former shelter puppy.
