(Oklahoma City-AP) -- An overnight house fire has left one man dead in southwest Oklahoma City.

Firefighters found the body of 70-year-old Jack Miller in the kitchen of the home shortly before midnight Sunday.

Fire Major Brian Stanaland says the fire began when a log stacked on top of a wood-burning stove ignited and rolled off the stove, setting the floor on fire.

Stanaland says Miller was taken to Baptist Medical Center, where he died Monday morning.

Stanaland says Miller had two smoke alarms in his home, but neither were working.
