Oklahoma's rich heritage is attracting plenty of national attention. Five new sites have been added to the national register of historic places.
In Tulsa, one site was added. It's the mansion of oilman Foster B Parriott. His place was built in 1929. The other historic sites include Idabel's Rouleau Hotel. Hominy's Marland Filling Station, a triangular building has been standing since 1922.
The Hopewell Baptist Church in Edmond also made the list. And the Cooper Bison Kill near Fort Supply has bones that date back more than 10,000 years.
