NORMAN, Okla. (AP) _ De'Angelo Alexander led No. 3 Oklahoma with 25 points in the Sooners' 100-61 exhibition win over Athletes First.
Alexander was 9-14 on field goal attempts and grabbed three rebounds for the Sooners. Ebi Ere added 20 and Jabahri Brown put in 16 for Oklahoma. Brown also had 10 rebounds to tie Lorenzo Pearson of Athletes First for a game high.
The Sooners improved their shooting in the second period to finish the game with a 52.1 percent rate from the field, compared to 33.8 percent for Athletes First.
Guard Tony Heard had the visitors' high score with 15.
The Sooners, who opened the regular season with a 68-62 loss to No. 8 Alabama on Thursday night, play Cal-Irvine on Friday night.
