The Cherokee Nation opened a new childcare development center in Tahlequah.
The new 30,000 square foot facility, located on the campus of Sequoyah High School, is designed to encourage and promote the mental, physical and social growth of children.
The facility has been named U-Ni-Wi-Sa-Nv, which means, "planting the seed" in Cherokee.
