Prosecutors have ruled Tulsa Police were justified in using deadly force against a man who shot six officers and two bystanders.
44-year-old Benito Hernandez was shot and killed at an apartment complex when he ambushed police. Hernandez had gone to the complex armed and looking for his ex-wife and her boyfriend.
Police told Hernandez several times to put the gun down and surrender, but he didn't. Authorities say officers had reason to believe deadly force was necessary to keep him from killing or injuring others.
