(Stillwater-AP) -- Oklahoma State basketball coach Eddie Sutton expects to stay on the job a while longer.

At media day Monday at OSU, Sutton said he plans to be the Cowboys' coach for five more years after this one.

The 66-year-old Sutton is beginning his 13th season at OSU. He has won 702 games in 32 years as a Division One coach.

Sutton says he and athletic director Harry Birdwell worked out the contract extension last week.

Birdwell says the details and compensation package have yet to be finalized.

The new contract must be approved by the OSU president and board of regents.
