School superintendents in Tulsa County say class sizes are bigger this year because there are fewer teachers.
The county's 15 districts are down 247 teachers from last year. Most of the cuts came from not filling vacant positions. Tulsa's school district was the biggest loser with 130 teacher slots going unfilled.
Broken Arrow lost 35 teachers and Union lost 28. Jenks and Sand Springs each lost 16.
