(Norman-AP) -- Oklahoma linebacker Teddy Lehman is a semifinalist for the Dick Butkus Award given each year to the best linebacker in college football.
The award is named in honor of former Illinois and Chicago Bear linebacker Dick Butkus, who will present the award to the winner.
Lehman is one of eleven semifinalists chosen from a group of 67 college linebackers named to a watch list in August.
Three finalists will be selected in November and the winner will be announced in December.
OU's Rocky Calmus won the award last year and former Sooner Brian Bosworth is the only two-time award winner when he was chosen in 1985 and 1986.
