(Norman-AP) -- Oklahoma coach Bob Stoops says the Sooners' third straight win over Texas will probably help Oklahoma's recruiting efforts.

Stoops says recruits will probably consider the record when deciding where to go.

Texas' recent recruiting classes have been ranked higher than Oklahoma's by magazines and online services. But Stoops says the Sooners' new talent has been every bit as good as the Longhorns' over the last three years.

Stoops also says he's not sure how accurate such rankings are and hopes Oklahoma fans will relax about recruiting efforts.
