(Oklahoma City-AP) -- All three of Oklahoma's candidates for governor say they'd favor a dollar-a-pack tax on cigarettes.
The tax would be used to boost health care for low-income families and children. It was proposed at a conference on child advocacy.
The only qualifier came from Republican Steve Largent who says he'd like to see an agreement first between the state and Indian smoke shops.
Other views today came at a state tourism conference where Largent and independent candidate Gary Richardson said they favor selling at least some of Oklahoma's state lodges and golf courses. Democrat Brad Henry says the state should invest in the properties instead of selling them.
