DALLAS (AP) _ A man who sold his ticket to the Texas-Oklahoma football game was shot later in an apparent robbery, police said.

Wilbur Clarence Oliver Jr., 22, of Norman, Okla., was found dead Sunday afternoon in an alley in South Dallas, according to a police report. No one has been charged in the killing, police spokesman Sr. Cpl. Steve Walthall said Monday.

Police Sgt. Gary Kirkpatrick said the man, believed to be a University of Oklahoma alumnus, had sold his ticket to the game on Friday or Saturday and probably carried several hundred dollars.

After the transaction, the man and his fiancee met other people and arranged a meeting, Kirkpatrick said. The couple drove from an Addison hotel to Dallas about 2:30 a.m. Sunday, he said.

The woman left the area after the man walked away and she could not find him, police told The Dallas Morning News. She returned Sunday afternoon and found his body.

At least four men and a different woman were being questioned by detectives.
