(Norman-AP) -- Oklahoma senior John Kidwell is Big 12 men's golfer of the month for September.

Kidwell is also a recent collegiate golfer of the week from Golf World magazine.

He shot a course record of 65 last month in the second round of the Sooner Invitational. Kidwell claimed first place in individual competition with an 11-under 205.

Kidwell is from Dallas and averages 72-point-two strokes per round through nine rounds.
