Wildflowers sprang up at Heritage Land Playground Thursday, thanks to the Broken Arrow Mom's Club.
Children, alongside their moms, helped plant the beautiful blooms at the Central Park playground to give something back to the community. Kim Tonquest, with the Broken Arrow Mom's Club, "This year we chose Heritage Land Park, and it is the only park in the area that is accessible by wheelchair and for children with disabilities. We are planting a sensory herb garden which will allow children to feel, touch, smell, and look at different types of flowers, rocks, and fragrances through the flowers that we're planting."
A variety of plants were grounded in the park, perennials, wildflowers, herbs, and mints, just to name a few.
