(Oklahoma City-AP) -- An Oklahoma City woman has been arrested and faces a second-degree murder complaint in a Sunday fire that killed her daughter.
Lisa Renee Jackson was arrested Tuesday night at the home of relatives. Fire Major Brian Stanaland says Jackson arrived at the Oklahoma County jail about six o-clock.
The body of 3-year-old Jade Jackson was found in the bedroom of a northwest Oklahoma City apartment. Investigators say she and her 9-year-old brother were left alone in the house.
Stanaland says the children were apparently using a candle for light and the candle ignited sheets or blankets.
The boy managed to escape the fire and was treated for smoke inhalation. He has been put in state custody.
Lisa Jackson arrived at the apartment about an hour after neighbors reported the fire.
