Hundreds of people turned out Saturday night for a chance to be a movie star.

An independent film is shooting in Tulsa starring Tulsa's own Gary Busey.

It was an open call for anyone who wanted to be a member of the audience at Brady Theatre.

It was a small bit in the final film but the line was long. There were plenty of extras to shoot the final scene for the locally produced film.

Mayor Bill LaFortune also declared Saturday Gary Busey Day in honor of the film's star.
