A telecom business is taking on some unusual customers. Employees of Birch Telecom in Tulsa now bring needy dogs to work with them.

Birch is teaming up with the Humane Society to help find good homes for these pets. And for every new customer, Birch gets, it will donate $10 to the Humane Society of Tulsa, up to at least a thousand dollars.

Shannon Ledbetter with the Humane Society says that money will pay for pet room and board and more. "Vet bills are huge. When we get a thousand dollars right there, just helps us a lot."

Birch's spokes dog, Buddy is a former Humane Society pup himself. If you're interested in adopting a pet, you can call the Humane Society of Tulsa at 250-3647.
