(Oklahoma City-AP) -- An Oklahoma City call center is looking to hire 500 or more people in the next month.

APAC Customer Services recently signed a long-term contract with ATT to provide customer service and sales of local telephone products.

The company currently has 115 employees with about 50 others in training.

APAC spokesman Ernie Jones says the call center has had more than 500 employees in the past, but has cut jobs because of the economic slump.
