Tulsa Police clipped the ego and the crime spree of a teenage burglar Monday morning.
He broke into eight or nine cars and garages in a neighborhood near 1600 South Madison. He stole DVD players, wallets, Gameboys, anything he could carry. Until, one woman saw him.
What surprised her more than the theft, was the thief's cocky attitude. Nancy Berry, "The next thing I hear is my garage door going up and he ran out. So, I chased him and he got to the end of the block and stopped and looked back at me and with a sassy look, said, catch me if you can. Maybe he thought he was the gingerbread man, I don't know. But, I stopped because the neighbors heard me yell."
Those neighbors helped police track down the smart mouth burglar and catch him. They did and everyone got their stuff back.
