Police investigate north Tulsa shooting

Tulsa Police investigate a shooting they say was sparked by racism. It happened early Thursday morning in north Tulsa.
Police were called to a home in the 4800 block of North Troost around one o'clock. They found a 20-year old white woman shot one time. Police say the woman was walking with her boyfriend who's black when a group of black males approached them. When they started making racial comments to the woman, things got out of hand.
Tulsa Police Corporal Steve Tuell, â€œthe young man defended the honor of his girlfriend and ended up, the group of males that approached him, starting firing several shots at them.â€
When they turned to run, the white female was shot in the back of the leg. The suspects ran off. They are all described as being between 13-and-15-years-old. No one has been arrested.
