(Edmond-AP) -- Officials at the University of Central Oklahoma have rented hotel rooms to help battle a crowded campus.
School spokesman Charlie Johnson says all of UCO's on-campus housing slots were filled when classes started. But about 40 students didn't have rooms.
The school is renting 40 rooms at the Ramada hotel across the street from campus to house the students.
Johnson says most of the 40 students are freshman or returners who didn't turn in a housing application last spring.
