(Oklahoma City-AP) -- Oklahoma officials say they're ready to take Texas to court over a reservoir.
The Oklahoma Water Resources Board says about two (b) billion gallons of water a year end up in Texas' Palo Duro Reservoir when they should be going to Oklahoma City.
Texas officials say the lake is needed to supply cities in the Texas Panhandle. Oklahoma says no cities are using the water.
Board Director Duane Smith says officials will try one more time this week to negotiate a solution. But Smith says he's doubtful a breakthrough will happen.
The reservoir is ten miles north of Spearman Texas.
