Wednesday was the first day of school for many students across eastern Oklahoma.

In Broken Arrow, the class bell rang at Southside Elementary and kids returned to classes bright and early. But, Broken Arrow was not the only district back in session.

School also started Wednesday morning in Bartlesville, Bixby, Glenpool and a few others schools.
