(Tulsa-AP) -- Congressman John Sullivan is again criticizing the Immigration and Naturalization Service.
Sullivan says the agency has again failed to uphold immigration laws after five alleged illegal immigrants who were arrested in Rogers County were released on bail.
The five were released after the I-N-S failed to detain them.
Sullivan criticized the agency in July after it told the Tulsa County Sheriff's Department to release 18 alleged illegal immigrants.
The I-N-S said the July incident was because the Oklahoma City office was short on agents. I-N-S spokesman Lynn Ligon says the latest incident is probably also due to a staffing shortage.
Sullivan says the action is unacceptable and says he'll meet with federal and local law enforcement to find a solution to the problem.
