A frightening drive on a Tulsa highway early Wednesday when a motorist hits another vehicle, then runs off.
Authorities were called to I-44 and Highway 169 around midnight. They found a car and pick-up truck heavily damaged. Witnesses told troopers the driver of the pick-up had been driving erratically. Then suddenly he just hit the car. Oklahoma Highway Patrol trooper Pat Mays, "from all witnesses we talked to, the pickup truck struck the car, it was an intentional act. However we don't know why the driver and the occupants in the car don't know the pick up truck or the driver of the pick-up truck and don't know why it occurred."
Both vehicles spun out of control. The driver of the car managed to come to a safe stop. The truck hit a center retaining wall and the driver ran off on foot. No one was hurt.
Authorities say the truck was stolen.
