A meth lab bust lands one person in jail, and has Skiatook Police looking for another man.
The bust happened late Monday night at the Cherokee Heritage Apartments in Skiatook. Police were called around nine o'clock to investigate a strong chemical smell.
When officers went inside, they found a working meth lab, and ingredients for a pipe bomb. Two people were arrested, but a third made a daring getaway. Skiatook Police officer Logan Eller, “he escaped through the second story, he jumped out of a two story building out of the back window. He was seen by neighbors behind the complex running through the woods back there.â€
The apartments were evacuated for several hours while authorities cleared out the fumes. No one was hurt.1 adult male was taken into custody along with a juvenile who was later released to his parents.
Charges are pending.
