It looks like traffic will flow on the I-40 Bridge ahead of schedule. If everything goes as planned, the Oklahoma Department of Transportation says the bridge could be opened by Monday.

Crews will pour the last concrete slab Wednesday. ODOT credits good weather and a joint effort between construction crews for the possible early opening.

Gilbert Construction gets a 6 thousand dollar bonus for every hour it finishes early. Figure this, every day ahead of schedule, Gilbert Construction get $144,000.

If the crew finishes Monday, they could get a bonus of nearly a million and a half dollars.
