Cheyenne, Wyoming- Oklahomans are out in front in several events at the Frontier Days Rodeo in Cheyenne, Wyoming.
Travis Riley of Kremlin had a 14-point-8-second run to take the lead in the second round of steer roping. Riley is first overall with a combined 31-point-2.
Shorty Garten of Pawhuska won the opening round in 13 seconds. Garten pocketed almost 54-hundred dollars for his efforts.
Bart Nichols of Guymon is tied for first in saddle bronc riding after scoring 85 points.
Ty Massey of Lookeba leads the second round of calf roping after an 11-point-4-second run.
Competition continues through July 28th.
