(Monkey Island-AP) -- A revised plan for Grand Lake Regional Airport no longer includes 30 homes, a marina and 148 boat slips.
The plan keeps a proposed strip mall and thousand-foot runway extension. A chain-link fence will surround the airport and two luxury homes worth more than 600-thousand dollars each.
Authorities approved the plan yesterday after two years of argument. It goes to Delaware County commissioners tomorrow.
Commissioners didn't approve earlier plans because of an F-A-A warning that homes near the runway would violate air space.
