(Oklahoma City-AP) -- An Ada man is dead after his vehicle hit a cow and turned over this morning.

Troopers say Douglas Gregory Tate was dead at the scene from head injuries.

The highway patrol says Tate was driving down a state highway when his vehicle hit a cow lying in the road. Tate was thrown from the vehicle after it left the roadway and rolled twice.
