(Ardmore-AP) -- Ardmore basketball standout Kendra Moore could be out six to eight months with a knee injury.
Moore announced in May that she'll sign with the University of Oklahoma.
She was injured last weekend during the OU Summer Basketball Tournament in Norman.
The 5-foot-6 guard averaged 20 points and seven rebounds for Ardmore's state tournament team this season.
Moore had surgery Tuesday afternoon. Ardmore coach Terry Rogers says she has a torn ACL.
