Some enthusiastic senior citizens celebrated the 4th of July a little early Tuesday afternoon.

The Baptist Village of Owasso sponsored its third annual Patriotic Celebration with a whole host of activities. Patriotic songs were performed by the village's "Joy Choir", followed by a wheelchair drill team, color guard and a tribute to military veterans.

Steve Thomas, the campus administrator, told us what made Tuesday's festivities extra exciting. "We can come together at one place, at one time with children through senior adults and maybe experience something together that we've never experienced before."
