(Chandler-AP) -- A Meeker man is being held without bond in the Lincoln County jail for allegedly killing his five-year-old daughter.

Sheriff's deputies say 28-year-old Michael Ellison admitted killing his daughter Melissa last week after using methamphetamine.

Officers say Ellison also showed them where to find the child's body.

Sheriff Dale McNelly says Ellison was arrested at about three o'clock Wednesday morning.

The cause of death has not been determined.

Deputies began looking for the girl last night. She was last seen with her father last week.

The girl and two brothers were staying their father. The parents are separated.

Ellison's next court appearance is scheduled for Friday.
