(Arlington, Texas-AP) -- The Texas Rangers have recalled left-handed pitcher John Rocker from Oklahoma of the Pacific Coast League.

He'll was in uniform for Sunday night's game with Atlanta, but never pitched against his old team.

The Rangers sent right-handed pitcher Rob Bell to Oklahoma to make room for Rocker.

The 27-year-old Rocker was 1-and-0 and threw 8-point-two innings in six relief appearances since going to Oklahoma May 21st.
