(Durant-AP) -- Southeastern Oklahoma University has surpassed its goal of raising five (m) million dollars and will resume its football program.

Southeastern will begin playing football in the 2003 season for the first time since the 1985 season.

Athletic director Frank Pergolizzi says the search for a head coach is under way.
