Gasoline prices go up

You may have noticed that local gas prices shot up Wednesday afternoon from about a $1.17 per gallon to nearly a $1.30.

And while that may sound like a lot, AAA says we've got it pretty good. Oklahoma prices are the second lowest in the nation. Only Georgia fares better at a penny below our average.

But prices may climb even higher as traveler’s gear up for Memorial Day weekend.
