Tulsa Police have arrested two people in connection with two taxi robberies.
Police were called to the apartments at 49th and Peoria early Thursday morning by a woman who claimed she was a robbery victim. Officers say a cab driver picked up the woman. Then a man armed with a shotgun jumped in the cab and robbed both.
As police questioned the woman, they say her story just didn't add up. Tulsa Police Sgt. Mike Eckert, "There wasn't a confrontation between the two which wouldn't which would be unusual and just several parts of her story didn't make sense, didn't add up in the sense of a true victim."
The woman allowed police to search her apartment and that's when she confessed. Both were taken into custody, and police have recovered the shotgun.
Charges are pending. No one was hurt in the robberies.
