A chemical fire scare at a West Tulsa industrial site is over. It started in a barrel at Permafix, an industrial waste disposal site.

Fire crews had to let the fire burn itself out because the chemical in the barrel was water reactive. The Tulsa Fire Department said there was no danger to surrounding businesses.
