ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) _ The Texas Rangers recalled right-hander Rob Bell from Triple-A Oklahoma to start Saturday night's game against the Cleveland Indians.

To make room for Bell, the Rangers optioned rookie outfielder Kevin Mench to Oklahoma.

Bell was 3-0 with a 2.61 ERA in four starts for the RedHawks. Mench was hitting .258 with one homer and seven RBIs in 11 games for the Rangers.
